Irish Lift Services is changing its brand name to FAIN Ireland

Irish Lift Services (ILS), FAIN Group’s Irish branch, is changing its trading name to FAIN Ireland.
We will still be as Irish, as experts in Lifts and as devoted to Service as always… just displaying a shorter name.

But how did it all begin? and why undertake a rebranding initiative right now?

We’ll tell you!

The history of FAIN Group in Ireland

In November 2021, FAIN launched its operations in Ireland , marking a milestone in our company’s history, which increased the number of countries in which the company operated up to five (at that time we already had offices in Spain, France, Belgium and Switzerland).

Irish Lift Services consisted of three acquired companies (West of Ireland, ILS, and Otis Ireland), and was renamed Irish Lift Services and positioned us as one of the country’s leading players, with 15% market share, more than 4,700 lifts under our management, and around 100 new employees.

We wanted the integration to be gradual.
In fact, it wasn’t until July 2022 that FAIN Systems began to be used in Ireland .
That same year, the first FAIN-designed and manufactured ION lift was installed and commissioned in Ireland.

In 2024, we launched a single portfolio which brought together the products and services of the three companies that were now a single and cohesive corporation.

Offices, fleet and human team

Although Irish Lift Services remain operating from the same offices that Otis Ireland had in Dubln, we completed a minor renovation at our headquarters not only to rebrand but mainly to remove the partition wall that separated the CEO’s office and merge it with the “Open Space” area where the rest of the team works.

Our goal was to create open spaces to promote communication between employees from different departments, foster collaborative and teamwork, and eliminate organizational hierarchies.

The Irish Lift Services employee uniforms and fleet vehicles were branded with the new logo, which, while retaining the Irish Lift Services name, now incorporated the yellow diamond so representative of FAIN Group, something that now in the rebranding we are sure will help our customers and collaborators to easily identify the brand.

Regarding the team , a 100% of the employees from the former companies kept their jobs and most of the original team continues to grow in the company. The communication with FAIN Group headquarters located in Madrid has been constant for the past four years and synergies with corporate teams are undoubted and help us in our continuous development.

Strengthen brand identity

Changing our company’s trading name in Ireland is a strategic decision by the FAIN Group with significant implications for the company and its stakeholders.

Our intention is to strengthen the FAIN brand identity, help build a strong and consistent FAIN image (nationally and internationally), and achieve a greater impact in the market that will allow us to attract more and more clients. We want to achieve all of this while maintaining the essence of Irish Lift Services on both a technical and human level; in other words, by adding strategic value.

Specifically, with this rebranding (or brand renewal) initiative, FAIN Ireland aims to better connect with customers, differentiate itself from the competition, be perceived as the leading multinational that we are, attract talent, and, ultimately, strengthen the brand in the minds of consumers who will now see their brand in multiple locations all across Europe.

FAIN is pronounce like FINE for a reason

You will see how little by little our logos are changing on the web, on our social networks, on the uniforms of the engineers, on the vans…
The change will be gradual don’t be surprised by it

We’ll be FAIN, you’ll be FINE. Welcome to FAIN Ireland!
