Miguel Gómez Beas - CEO of FAIN Group

Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has been in the elevator sector for more than 20 years, but he works with the same enthusiasm as the first day.
At FAIN he has held different positions, until becoming CEO in 2026. Thanks to his efforts, our company continues to expand throughout Europe. Miguel's great challenge is to "fainize" the companies that we acquire abroad, digitize them and ensure that the client only notices improvement in attention and quality of service.
Involved, enthusiastic, proactive and passionate professional. He also stands out for his human quality, his tenacity, his change management and his unquestionable results orientation. As for his hobbies, if you want to go on a bike route, Miguel is the ideal companion!

Michael Kelly - General Manager

With over 25 years of experience in the consumer services industry, Michael Kelly brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his role as General Manager of FAIN Ireland. Renowned for his strategic vision, commercial acumen, and exceptional people management skills, Michael has consistently led teams and projects with enthusiasm and determination.

He is deeply passionate about change management, long-term planning, and mentoring future leaders. His proactive, people-oriented approach and steadfast commitment to excellence make him an influential figure across all initiatives he undertakes.

Stephanie Laffan - Senior Office and Administration Manager

Valued member of the senior management team at Fain Ireland, serving as Office Manager with over eight years of dedicated experience in the lift industry. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and proactive approach to leadership, Stephanie plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless daily operations and effective communication within the organization.
With a strong foundation in administrative management, Stephanie has developed a keen ability to streamline processes and enhance productivity across various departments. Her expertise lies in project coordination, budget management, and team collaboration, all of which contribute to Fain Ireland's reputation for excellence in vertical transportation solutions.

Derek Lawlor - Finance Business Partner

Derek serves as the Finance Director of FAIN Ireland with experience in financial strategy, planning, and leadership. In this role, he oversees all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and long-term financial planning.
He excels in negotiation, team building, and change
management, with future planning and budgeting always present in his roadmap.

Chris Courtney - Compliance, Risk and Auditing Manager

Chris Courtney brings over 26 years of cross-sector experience in safety, quality, environmental compliance, and operational leadership. As Compliance Risk & Auditing Manager at Fain Ireland, Chris plays a key role in ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations while driving performance through the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.

Chris is an IRCA-certified Lead Auditor with a proven ability to translate complex compliance frameworks into practical, site-level systems that enhance safety, sustainability, and service delivery. He has successfully led multi-site certification projects, chairs regional safety committees, and manages internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations across the operation.

With a strong academic foundation, Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Management, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health and a Bachelor of Business Studies. He has also completed multiple professional certifications, including ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001), PSCS coordination, manual handling instruction, fire safety, and waste facility management. His diverse qualifications underpin his ability to lead with both technical rigour and strategic insight across all areas of QESH compliance.

Chris combines technical expertise with strategic insight ensuring quality and compliance are embedded in daily operations. His leadership helps maintain the company’s reputation for professionalism, integrity, and operational excellence in a highly regulated industry.
